DIRECT DOWNLOAD FROM MERISH 4

1. Connect to a Wi-Fi network via the m-pen
   • see addendum for details on how to connect to the internet
2. Click the "Wi-Fi" button in the lower right corner
3. Click the "INSTALL NOW" button, wait for the download and follow the on-screen instructions
   • If the installed software is already the latest release this button will not be present

VIA USB STICK
N.B. Make sure you don't have any other files named "MerishUpdate.M4" in your Download folder

1. Check the current version of the Software
   • enter SETUP and click on GENERAL INFO
2. Download the software
   • The updated version of the Merish 4 firmware can be downloaded as a.m4 file by clicking THIS LINK.
   • Once the M4 file is downloaded, copy it inside a USB stick.
   • Remove the USB stick from your PC.
3. Update the software
   • Disconnect the USB cable from Merish 4 if connected.
   • Insert the USB stick into the appropriate port of Merish 4 (turned off) and turn it on.
   • Merish 4 recognizes the presence of the new firmware and starts the update process.
     (NOTE: during the update process, Merish may ask to be restarted: if so, unplug the usb stick and turn the machine off and on again)
   • Wait for Merish 4 to start and once it has finished starting, regenerate the Database from OPTIONS -> DATABASE -> Regenerate HARD DISK
   • Wait for regeneration and recheck the software version.
