How to update the B.Beat software
VIA B.BEAT
Download B.Beat Manager 6.0 from the following links:
. If your B.Beat PLUS is not updated to version 6.0, update it to use LAKYX.
BBeatManager for Mac(Requires macOS 13 “Ventura” or later).
1. Automatic Check for a New Version
Connect the B.Beat PLUS to the network via an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi, just as you normally would when connecting to a computer and transferring databases.If the computer is connected to the Internet, the B.Beat Manager automatically checks whether the B.Beat PLUS is up to date with the latest available version.
If an update is available, the software will display a message and allow you to start the automatic update process.
It is recommended that you keep the versions of B.Beat PLUS and B.Beat Manager in sync.
B.Beat Manager 6.0 can be used with all versions of B.Beat PLUS.
Updating B.Beat PLUS to version 6.0 is only necessary to use LAKYX.

N.B. Make sure you don't have any other files named "bbeatPlusSysSw.upd" in your pc's Download folder.
The software for the B.Beat PLUS cannot be installed on the B.Beat , and vice versa.
1. Check the software version on the B.Beat PLUS
To check the version number currently installed on the machine, simply press theOptionsbuttonandselect INFO.
2. Download the software, version 6.0
– The updated firmware version for B.Beat PLUS can be downloaded as a .upd file from this link.
– Once you’ve downloaded the .upd file, copy it to a USB flash drive.
– Remove the USB flash drive from your PC.
3. Update the software on the B.Beat PLUS
– Turn on the B.Beat PLUS and wait for the main screen to appear.
– Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port of the B.Beat PLUS and wait for the update to be recognized. The message “Update found” appears on the B.Beat display. Press F3.
– The system analyzes the file; after about 15 seconds, you will be asked to confirm the update. Verify that the version matches the one listed above, and press F3 again to confirm. If not, cancel to stop the update.
– The update process continues automatically, and the B.Beat PLUS will restart on its own when finished. Once the restart is complete, remove the USB flash drive
